Achieve Education are supporting are supporting a Multi-Academy Trust with schools based across the UK. They are currently seeking to appoint a Principal for a two-form entry primary school based in Bristol from September 2020.

The school is currently an all-through (4 years -16 years) two form entry community (non-denominational) maintained school and from September 2020 will convert to a primary school (4 years to 11 years).

The successful person will either be an ambitious Deputy Headteacher looking for their first Headship, or a serving Headteacher who is keen to work in a Trust with a proven approach to school development and improvement.

This is a school that has had certain challenges since opening in 2014. Since the current Trust has taken over, they have been focused on improving the school and have created a south west Hub which oversees three schools in that particular region, which is used to enhance and support critical and positive changes.

A successful appointment to this post, will require the right person to have the energy, vision and ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff and pupils.

You will also demonstrate the following:

  • A passionate commitment to ensuring all children are given the opportunities to shine and achieve educationally
  • Have significant primary leadership experience and a proven track of delivering improvement
  • Good understanding of the Ofsted framework
  • Understands and can articulate what constitutes high quality inclusive education provision

Interim Regional Director of Education

East England

Achieve Education are supporting a Multi-Academy Trust seeking to appoint an interim Regional Director of Education from September 2020 – 3 days per week, £100K pro-rata.

The successful person will be an experienced senior leader with recent/current experience as an Executive Headteacher / Executive Principal within secondary school settings.

You will be overseeing a group of 5 to 6 secondary schools in the East of England with a key focus on supporting and challenging the performance and standards of education within the region. Offering support to the Principals in order to bring swift and incisive action which will lead to an improvement in standards within each school, providing expert advice on approaches to raising standards within each school within your region as you will be line managing these Headteachers / Principals.

Experience with contributing to pre-Ofsted preparation, Ofsted follow up and other academy reviews alongside is required, as well as being able to agree challenging and meaningful targets for improved attainment by supporting the academies with self-evaluation and improvement planning. You will have a key focus on developing a plan for improvement within the region, while also being responsible for overseeing the curriculum led financial planning activities at a regional and academy level.

Interim Regional Director of Learning and Achievement

Achieve Education are supporting a multi-academy trust with schools based across SW England. Due to internal promotion, they are seeking to appoint a Regional Director for Learning and Achievement on an one year fixed-term contract basis from September 2020.

The role has a key function in the Trust with supporting its growth and transformation into becoming an outstanding provider of education. They currently consist of over 30 primary schools and have a close working relationship with a local Diocese. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an Academy Trust committed to high expectations, high standards and excellent provision for all learners.

The successful person will be working closely with the Director of Learning and their key focus will be ensuring that schools are provided with the highest quality monitoring, challenge, support and intervention in order to achieve this. You will also play an integral part to the school improvement agenda, overseeing school development, and ensuring overall effectiveness and a culture of high aspirations for all.

A proven ability to lead and implement successful strategies for school improvement, alongside superb research, data analysis and reporting skills are essential. You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to support, monitor and challenge vulnerable schools and have an excellent understanding of how school to school support can be developed.

Are you committed and passionate about SEN education, with a passion for autism?

If so, Achieve Education are supporting a non-maintained special school that caters for autistic children aged 3-19 years, based in Nottinghamshire.

The school are seeking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to start from September 2020 (Dependent on availability). The key focus of the role will involve combining strategic development with operational delivery on a daily basis across the whole school.

You will play a critical role in the translation of its vision into clear objectives that promote and sustain measurable school development; ensuring that the school continuously improves and is aspirational for all the children attending the school. 

Previous experience with autistic children and young people or teaching in an additional needs environment at any age is desirable but full training and support will be given.

Achieve Education are working in partnership with a special needs school that caters for children aged between 3 years to 11 years with severe learning difficulties based in London. They are seeking to appoint an interim Headteacher on a one year fixed term contract from October 2020.

The successful person will be a passionate and personable senior leader who is able to lead and work collaboratively. Has previous Headship experience in similar SEN school environments with a key focus on children with ASD, PMLD and SLD. This is a school that offers a personalised curriculum, which is modified appropriately for each individual child, has a large and dedicated team of staff who are extremely passionate about the learning environment for all pupils, as well as working closely with the local community and multi-disciplinary team colleagues to fully support all pupils to achieve their full potential.
